No page limit, no upload

Most summarizer apps upload the PDF to a server and cap the length. Quietra processes the file on the phone and scales to the document: it splits a long PDF into sections, summarizes each one, then composes an overview across them. A 600-page report works the same way as a one-page receipt, only longer.

Scanned PDFs are handled too. Pages that are images are read with Apple's on-device text recognition before summarizing, so a scan of a printed report is as usable as a digital one.

What a Quietra summary contains

Section summaries that follow the document's own structure, so you can jump to the part you need.

An executive overview composed from all the sections, for long documents.

Follow-up through Q&A: ask about a detail and get an answer grounded in the text, or use Key Info to pull the dates, names, and amounts.

How to do it

1. Import the PDF into Quietra from Files, Mail, a cloud folder you choose, or the camera.

2. Tap Summary. Progress is shown section by section; you can stop and resume.

3. Share the summary, save it as a PDF, or delete the document. It never leaves your iPhone.
